Canceling a Non–Refundable Ticket on Delta Flight

Refund of the Premiums on Flight Tickets
The complete refunds of premium on the flight ticket are possible only if you cancel it within 15 days of the purchase of the plan. Furthermore, the refunds are also possible if the passenger has not filed the claim for premium or made any departures. Premiums shall not be refunded after the tenure of 15 days.
Refunds and Rebooking on Alternative Flight
A passenger ordering flight cancelation or causing significant delays over and above 120 Minutes with Delta Air Lines, his/her flight plan is likely to be rebooked on any other suitable flight flying to the specific destination. There are certain possibilities where the passenger can order a refund of ONLY A PART OF THE NON-REFUNDABLE TICKET or unused portion of the trip and your ticket.

Request for the Reimbursement
Passengers/Travelers, who had to pay for hotel, transportation and/or meal expenses as the result of substantial flight delays or cancelations owing to Technical/Personal Reasons of Delta Air Lines, then such Passengers/Travelers, are advised to make a formal submission of reimbursement request. It is only after the formal submission that the concerned department of Delta Air Lines shall review the request, define the eligibility and later offer updations on the reimbursements.

- Refund and reimbursement requests are forwarded through the Refund or Reimbursement Request form for residents of the U.S. and Canada only, and/or for the flight disruptions due to the factors inside the Delta’s control.
- Refund and reimbursement requests are forwarded through the Comment and Complaint form in case the flights are departing from an airport lying inside the European Union.
- All refunds are directed automatically to the original form of payment.
- Refunds are processed by Delta when the ticket is canceled within 24 Hours of the purchase. There are a few Banks or Credit Card issuers that may likely hold the funds on Credit/Debit Card. In this case, it is recommended by Delta Airlines that the passengers should connect to the card issuer.
No Show Policy
